A public consultation is currently underway on a consolidated development of large and complex land uses in Palodia , in the Limassol region . According to the environmental impact assessment submitted to the Department of the Environment, two strategic use models are proposed, including a university along with student accommodation, and a Research and Development Centre.

The main goal of the project is to identify these strategic uses and create productive synergies through their proximity. The project must also be significantly connected to both the wider Limassol metropolitan area and the local communities in the immediate vicinity.

The project will also include other uses to a lesser extent, such as a cultural center (as designated by the competent authority), residential developments, and commercial and food/leisure areas, primarily to serve the proposed development.

The developer is Frontarico Ltd , which is associated with Land Development Group, bbf :.

The project will be implemented in three stages.

Zoning plan will cover a land area of 310,352 sq.m.

Public roads, public green spaces and social facilities is approximately 228,835 sq.m. and will include the following uses with a total built-up area (development rate) of 118,071 sq.m .:

  • University and student dormitories
  • Research and Development Center
  • Single residential complexes
  • A park
  • Additional commercial and dining areas.

The first phase will include the construction of the main part of the main university building, the first of three student residence buildings, the western part of a single residential complex, multi-level parking and the main building of the Research and Development Center, which also includes recreational and retail areas.

The second phase will include the remainder of the university’s main building, part of the university’s facilities, the second of three student residence buildings with underground parking, part of a single residential complex, and part of the Research and Development Center, including recreation and retail areas.

The third phase will include the completion of university facilities, completion of student residence buildings, completion of a single residential complex, completion of the Research and Development Center, including recreational and retail areas.
