A significant event recently took place in Larnaca, where the collaboration between the Lefkaritis Group and the company bbf: was officially announced. This partnership marks the beginning of the first phase of the large-scale “Land of Tomorrow” project, designed by the renowned architectural firm Foster + Partners.
The ceremony was attended by the President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, Larnaca Mayor Andreas Vyras, and other high-ranking officials.
UDS Architects, continuing its fruitful collaboration with Foster + Partners, will serve as the lead architect for the “Land of Tomorrow” project, which promises to be the most innovative in Larnaca in recent years.
UDS Architects and Foster + Partners are jointly working on obtaining permits, implementing the master plan, and developing the first phase of the project, with construction scheduled to begin at the end of 2025. This phase includes the construction of residential complexes covering over 32,000 square meters, located on the scenic coastline.
The project aims to create a harmonious urban space that will include residential areas, shops, offices, and restaurants, all connected by a new pedestrian route along the coast.
The project is expected to double the available coastal area and green the space by planting around 20,000 new trees and creating a new coastal pine forest.
