Limassol topped the Cyprus property market in January

In the Ask report Wire , a company combining real estate expertise with the use of technology, provides information on the local property market, including the largest property sales and their total value in Cyprus.

The province of Limassol has five transactions in the top ten sales, followed by Larnaca and Paphos with two and Nicosia with one. The value of these transactions in the Limassol area amounted to 7.54 million euros, in Larnaca – 2.68 million euros, in the Paphos area – 3.1 million euros and in Nicosia – 990,000 euros.

The total value of the 50 largest deals, ten for each province, was €34.4 million in January.

Limassol alone accounted for 32% of the total value of all sales, indicating the city’s preeminent position in the luxury real estate sector. Moreover, the combined value of the ten most expensive properties sold in Paphos in January was marginally higher than in Larnaca .

In particular, the ten most expensive properties in Limassol were sold for 11 million euros, ten in Paphos for 7.7 million euros, and in Larnaca for 7.3 million euros. In addition, transactions worth EUR 5.5 million and EUR 2.8 million were recorded in Nicosia and Famagusta , respectively.
