The House Price Index (HPI) in the fourth quarter of 2023 increased by 1.6% compared to the corresponding quarter in 2022 and decreased compared to previous quarters in 2023.
According to the preliminary estimate of the Statistical Service, the HPI for the fourth quarter of 2023 is calculated at 109.95 units.
Compared to the third quarter of 2023, the HPI decreased by 0.6%, and compared to the corresponding quarter of 2022, it increased by 1.6%.
It is noted that in the first quarter of 2023, the HPI index was 110.31 units, and in the second quarter of the same year – 110.15 units.
