The Building Materials Price Index for December 2021 recorded an increase of 17.87% compared to the same month of the previous year, according to data released on Friday by the Statistical Office of Cyprus.
For the main product categories, an increase was recorded in metal products (34.41%), wood products, insulating materials, chemicals and plastics (18.38%), electromechanical products (12.33%), minerals (5.20 %) and mineral products (4.52%).
The index for December 2021 reached 118.95 units (2015 base year = 100), recording an increase of 0.85% compared to the previous month.
