A decree came into force that changes the data on fees and charges related to the preparation of EIA from individual projects.
The statement from the Department of the Environment notes that on the basis of Article 47 of the Law on Environmental Impact Assessment of Individual Projects, from 2018 to 2021, a decree was issued, referred to as “On the Environmental Impact Assessment of Individual Projects (Payments and Charges) Decree of 2022” .
According to the regulation, the developer must pay the relevant fees and charges to the Department of the Environment, according to:
– consideration of an application for issuing instructions for compiling a MEEP (Form 6),
– consideration of an application for issuing instructions on the scope and content of the MEEP (Form 11),
– submission of MEEP, submission of an information report (Form 7),
– holding public hearings and concluding an agreement with the external auditor.
It is emphasized that the Resolution was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic on 08/04/2022 and posted on the website of the Department of the Environment.
It is emphasized that the Decree takes effect immediately if for all MEEP or Information Reports (Form 7), as well as for Forms 6 or Form 11 submitted to the Department of the Environment after 08/04/2022, they must provide proof of payment of the relevant fees.
