Set to become the first Hyatt Hotels Corporation hotel in Cyprus, the impressive Grand Hyatt Limassol scoops our latest Project of the Week title.

On making its debut in 2025, the new Grand Hyatt property will mark a significant milestone in Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s growth across Europe. We find out more about this exciting project, which stems from a management agreement announced over the summer between a Hyatt affiliate and Anolia Holdings.

The newbuild Grand Hyatt Limassol, which is currently in the pre-planning phase, will soon begin to take shape on the beachfront east of Limassol. This tourism hub on the southern coast of the island is considered one of Cyprus’ most cosmopolitan cities, as well as its financial capital.

The proposed 300-key luxury resort seeks to set itself apart from the competition through its light-filled guest rooms with sea views, five drinking and dining venues, and 15,000 sq ft of event space.

Designed to be a destination within a destination, the hotel will be part of the mixed-use Zaria Resort development, comprising private villas and residential apartments along with a beach club, a spa, fitness facilities, an indoor pool and two outdoor pools.

Promising to create a contemporary resort celebrating Cypriot lifestyle and culture as well as the island’s natural beauty, renowned studio SB Architects will design the hotel, alongside EDSA and Rockwell Group.

On arrival, guests will pass the lush greenery of the hotel’s 150,000 sq ft public garden and promenades with eye-catching views of the Mediterranean Sea. The development is just a 30-minute drive from Larnaca International Airport.
