Akamas Sea View Villas, Paphos
“Akamas Lookout” is a 3 bedroom Villa, featuring an 8m private swimming pool, Hot tub / Jacuzzi, newly fitted contemporary kitchen and is nestled close to the Meleti Forest, with “out of this world” views over the coastline of the Akamas Peninsular, including Lara bay.
The Villa has 3 good size bedrooms ; Bedroom 1 has a King Size Bed, with Bedroom 2 offering a Super King Size bed – both with beautiful Mediterranean Sea Views / Views out to the Protected UNESCO Nature Reserve – they share an adjoining balcony, with table and chairs to sit and enjoy an alfresco morning coffee looking out on the bay or an evening glass of wine whilst gazing at some of the most spectacular sunset views the island has to offer. Bedroom 3 offers 2 comfortable Single Beds and boasts both Sea Views and Mountain / Nature Reserve Views.
All of the bedrooms have high ceilings with ceiling fans and air conditioning units. Open plan downstairs with two large ceiling fans and three sets of patio doors making the most of natural cooling and sea breezes during hot weather.
The property sleeps 6 comfortably, with the option to have 2 further fold out single beds on request, ideal for children and there is also a travel cot / high chair available on request if required.
The Villa has been newly fitted out with a contemporary kitchen, all new appliances and utensils. The fresh, contemporary feel continues throughout the villa.
Come and make yourself at home at “Akamas Lookout”.
The Surrounding Area
In the morning you will probably see on the land surrounding the Villas, a mass of goats grazing. The gentle / calming sounds that come from the bells around their necks, we think you will agree is a delight to see and hear, very soothing.
Although the area is relatively quiet, (which is definitely in it’s favour if you fancy getting away from it all) – it is not cut off – there are still a number of restaurants / cafes within walking distance , the closest being SeaRays Cafe bar which is approx 100m from the property and there is also Sunset – a traditional Cypriot tavern which is just down the road – both receive excellent reviews on both Google and Trip Advisor.
Right near to Sunset Restaurant you can catch a bus which runs regularly and takes you to the the more bustling area of Coral Bay, if you fancy a change, great for dinner / lunch and no need to drive.
A short stroll away from the Villa you will find an ancient Necropolis within the Meleti Forest, which dates back to the Hellenistic period – definitely worth a wander to.
Less than a mile away is the historic harbour of Agios Georgios (St Georges) a small fishing village, which also has the remains of an ancient Basilica with floor mosaics still visible.
Lara Beach the near-deserted beach at Lara Bay as it is known, is home to loggerhead and green turtles and is a turtle conservation area. Monk seals also dwell in the sea caves around the peninsular.
