At the end of last year, the number of vacancies reached 10,000, which is 94.3% (4,679) more than at the end of 2020.

In percentage terms, the most vacancies in the fourth quarter of 2021 were recorded in the field of information and communication (4.2%), in accommodation and catering activities, i.e. mainly in restaurants and hotels (3.3%), wholesale and retail trade, car and motorcycle repair (3.1%), and processing 3%.

The number of jobs in tourism and catering has tripled

Numerically, the largest number of vacancies in the fourth quarter of 2021 (2,277) were observed in the wholesale and retail trade, auto and motorcycle repair, compared to 870 in the corresponding period of 2020.

The number of vacancies in hotels, hotels and restaurants has almost tripled, reaching 1541 compared to 401 at the end of 2020.

There were 1,071 vacancies in manufacturing compared to 863 in the fourth quarter of 2020, and in professional and scientific and technical activities – 857 vacancies compared to 593 in the last quarter of 2020.

In the public administration and defense sector, compulsory social security 671 vacancies out of 474 in the fourth quarter of 2020, in education 653 vacancies out of 542, and in the field of information and communication about three times more (585 out of 208 in the fourth quarter of 2020). 2020).

In activities related to human health and welfare, the number of vacancies in the fourth quarter of 2021 was 434 compared to 287 in the corresponding period of 2020.The number of vacancies in construction reached 374 (out of 217 in the fourth quarter of 2020), and in the field of administrative support activities – 369 vacancies (out of 119 in the last quarter of 2020).

Four times more jobs in transport and storage

The financial and insurance sector (banking and insurance) accounted for 324 vacancies in the fourth quarter of 2021, compared to 214 in the corresponding quarter of 2020.

The number of vacancies in the transport and storage sector quadrupled from 62 to 251 at the end of 2021.

At the same time, from absolute zero in the fourth quarter of 2020, the number of vacancies in the field of arts, entertainment and entertainment increased to 101. Conversely, the number of vacancies in other service industries decreased to 76 out of 96.

Industries where there were no vacancies

In the areas of water supply, wastewater treatment, waste management and reclamation, 34 vacancies were registered at the end of 2021, compared with 15 vacancies at the end of 2020.

In the field of real estate management, the number of vacancies increased from 3 to 22.

In the sector of mines and quarries at the end of 2021 there were only 3 vacancies from 0 for the same period in 2020, while in the supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning there are no vacancies even for a sample.
