ZIKZAK Architects complete landmark Limassol office project

07.12.2022

ZIKZAK Architects celebrate the successful completion of a project in Limassol implemented on behalf of an international I T-companies. The architecture firm has designed a new façade for a building under construction with a distinctive and futuristic office appearance that is to become a Limassol street landmark .

Meanwhile, given that the client has offices all over the world, the concept of the interiors of the project refers to the picturesque nature of Cyprus, which is characterized by natural materials, natural colors, light surfaces and rough textures.

“The project is very interesting,” notes Anastasia Apostu , project manager, “the work on it was thorough and long, but full of inexhaustible enthusiasm and imagination.”

“We were inspired by EXPO 2022, Singapore’s green pavilion, when developing the concept of plant composition,” she added.

Indeed, the focal point of the interior is the landscaped interior atrium: a glass cylinder that encloses a lush oasis.

On the ground floor is an elegant reception area with a modern desk, lush plants in stylish stone pots and comfortable seating for guests. Soundproof conference rooms are located on the same floor .

As for the second floor, it is given over to working areas: open spaces with multi-purpose modular furniture, meeting rooms and recreation areas. Classic workplaces are softened by an abundance of greenery and design elements such as a lamp reminiscent of an imposing Greek god.

Finally, the third floor is dedicated to senior management, with a spacious hall, as well as offices, meeting rooms and a conference room. The general character of the executive floor is sophisticated with a secular gloss. Glittering black surfaces, marble accents, leather with minimal touches of bronze and gold complete the refined atmosphere.

It is also the place where the references to the striking Cypriot landscapes and natural textures are most evident, which blends perfectly with the overall elegance. Natural, rock-like stone also decorates the hall, echoing the seashore as a source of welcome coolness.

In general, the logistics and zoning of the multi-storey office is designed in such a way that each employee feels comfortable, while remaining able to concentrate, working where it is convenient for him. Some areas are multi-purpose, for example, the hall on the ground floor is being transformed into a co- working space ; in the personal hall you can also hold corporate parties, internal meetings or any other high-profile events.

Ultimately, the undulating relief texture of the interior walls, reminiscent of the coast, rough stones, wood, lush landscape and natural shades make the office in Limassol a space where you can work productively, while feeling connected to nature and inspired by the island, natural beauty – without even leaving your home. rooms.
