Climate and weather in November in Cyprus
Autumn in Cyprus is characterized by the mild, warm, and sunny days typical of the Mediterranean climate, but from November onward, the weather gradually cools and rain becomes more frequent. This month is among the three rainiest on the island, behind only December and January. Nevertheless, sunny days still predominate, and even brief showers quickly give way to clear skies.
Average daytime temperatures range from 21°C to 23°C, with nighttime temperatures around 11°C. In Nicosia, temperatures range from 32°C on warm days to 1°C on cold nights. Along the coast, temperatures reach 23°C to 24°C, while in the Troodos Mountains, nighttime temperatures can reach as low as 6°C.

In the western regions, frequent winds make the climate cooler and more humid than in the east and south. Mounts Olympus and Kyrenia partially protect the central Mesaoria Plain from cold air currents, allowing the area to remain warmer for longer. Humidity remains around 60%, and the average monthly rainfall is 30 mm.
At this time of year, the days are shorter: the sun sets around 5:30 pm, but the island is still bathed in light for seven hours a day.
The pros and cons of a November holiday in Cyprus
November is a month ideal for those who prefer peace and quiet without the hustle and bustle of the high season.
Advantages:
- moderate precipitation;
- no mosquitoes;
- low humidity in lowland areas and along the coast;
- reduction in prices for hotels, air tickets, tours, entertainment and excursions due to the low season ;

- low UV levels (UV index is only 3 out of 12).
With water temperatures around 22°C, the swimming season technically continues until mid-November. During this time, you can enjoy quiet beaches and a lack of crowds.
Flaws:
- some hotels and entertainment venues are closed until spring;
- in the mountains, nights become cold and rain can hinder hiking;
- short daylight hours;
- no public holidays;
- evening winds are picking up on the west coast.
