In Larnaca, the creation and reconstruction of the city’s existing green spaces and parks continues, with the municipality embarking on the modernization and improvement of three municipal parks and the creation of a new one.
According to a statement from the Municipality of Larnaca , “the modernized parks are located on Temydos Streets in the Limaniou district , Tuz Hane in the Skala district and Crinon in the Vergina district, while the newly created park is located on Sirinon and Pavlou Mela streets in the Agios district Georgios Kontos . The reconstruction and creation of parks involves the installation of a cast safe floor, the installation of lighting and the improvement of playgrounds in each of them.
The Municipality of Larnaca , “continuing its policy of creating parks and new green spaces to be worked on, is currently in the process of renovating five other parks and creating three others, which are expected to start this year. Parks are located on Kitsu Tsavela , Gate , Kalymnos , Kalamatas and Chopin streets, while new parks will be created on Thasos Konstantinou, Trikalon and Gordiou streets Desmos .”
It is noted that “the reconstruction and creation of new parks includes the pouring of safe floors, the installation of lighting and the enrichment of games. Over the past 4 years, the Larnaca Municipality has upgraded 60 parks and created 25 more, and these specific efforts are aimed at improving the main arteries and other points of the city, pleasant routes and green lungs.”
