Shajwawi Company Lebovich Karekla Developments Ltd. has unveiled a large-scale plan to redevelop the former oil refinery and storage facilities in Larnaca. The project, dubbed Horizon, Towers , envisages the construction of six apartment buildings 70-87 meters high, which will give new impetus to the development of this area.
The project will be a key step in the large-scale redevelopment of Larnaca’s coastal area. The land for the construction was allocated by Petrolina, a company owned by the Lefkaritis family.

Architectural concept and infrastructure
Horizon Complex The Towers are designed as a unified aesthetic and functional ecosystem, divided into two main areas ( Plot 1 and Plot 2). The overall concept includes not only residential properties but also a wide range of public spaces:
- Six residential high-rise buildings with landscaped ground floors and basement levels.
- Two multifunctional buildings with restaurants, shops, spa centers and offices.
- Extensive recreation areas: swimming pools, padel courts and modern play areas for children.
- A well-developed network of internal roads and parking for cars and bicycles.
Detailing of development sites
Horizon Towers (Plot 1)
Two high-rise buildings (Horizon 1 and Horizon 2) are planned for this part of the complex. Each building, 86 meters tall, will have 20 floors and a total of 99 apartments. A five-story building, Annex 1, will also be built here, housing shops, restaurants, a gym, wellness areas, and office space. Residents will have access to a 1.4-meter-deep, 550-square-meter swimming pool and over 6,500 square meters of public green space.

Horizon Towers (Plot 2)
The second stage of development includes four apartment buildings:
- Horizon 3, 4 and 5: three 17-storey buildings, 75 metres high, each offering 85 apartments.
- Horizon 6: A 16-story, 70-meter-high building with 77 apartments.
The site’s infrastructure will be complemented by a three-story building, Annex 2, with office space and retail space, as well as three swimming pools (including a children’s pool), a 300-square-meter outdoor recreation area, and a padel court. Parking on this site will accommodate 427 vehicles, 33 of which are designated for disabled access.

Horizon Implementation Towers will transform a former industrial area into a modern hub, offering high-quality residential properties and a vibrant business environment in one of Larnaca’s most promising areas.
