According to Ask Wire , the 50 largest property transactions in Cyprus last year totaled €285.8 million .
Technology and property consultancy experts said the top ten property sales totaled €120.4 million , with the most expensive deal being a plot of land in the Limassol municipality valued at €22.1 million.
The list of the ten most expensive real estate transactions is led by the city and region of Limassol , which accounted for nine transactions worth €111.2 million. Tenth on the list was the sale of a deposit in the Famagusta region near Paralimni for €9.1 million.
Limassol area with €120.2 million accounted for 42% of the value of all transactions, followed by Famagusta with 16.2% for a total of €46.4 million.
Slightly lower sales figures were recorded in the Larnaca and Paphos areas with €42.6 million and €41.1 million respectively, while the Nicosia area recorded a total of €35.5 million.
