Hellenic Bank on Tuesday announced its decision to eliminate negative interest rates on non-household euro accounts from October 3, 2022.
From that date, the interest rate on all non-household checking, savings, and notice accounts will be set to zero.

The number of vacancies in the second quarter of 2022 rose to 11,113, up 3,716 from 7,397 in the same quarter a year earlier.
Compared to the first quarter of 2022, there was a decrease of 1,761 positions or 13.7% compared to the previous quarter.
The overall vacancy rate in the second quarter of 2022 was 2.7%. It previously stood at 3.2% in the previous quarter and 2.6% in the corresponding quarter of 2021.
According to the report, the highest percentages of vacancies in the second quarter of 2022 were identified in accommodation and food services – 7.2 percent, and in transportation and storage – 4 percent.
