Ask Company Wire , which specialises in monitoring transactions, prices and construction activity in the Cyprus property market, has published fresh data for May 2025. The study covers the ten most expensive sales across the country, as well as aggregated data for each administrative unit.
The total value of the 10 largest transactions across the country amounted to €38.8 million, and the absolute leader was the sale of a plot of land in the Egkomi area (Nicosia), which reached €12.5 million.
An interesting feature of the report was the presence of residential real estate in the list of the most expensive sales . Of the 22 recorded transactions with houses, six were in the top 10 by value , which indicates a high demand for luxury houses, and not just commercial properties or land.
At the same time, large land plots remain the dominant asset among investors. This is especially noticeable in the example of the deal in Egkomi , where the acquired plot became the most expensive purchase in May.
