One of the beautiful villas of the Leptos project Coral Seas in Coral Bay has been featured in Elle magazine Decor Spain Magazine after an interview with Elena Uchaeva, an interior designer hired to decorate a villa in Coral Seas by its recent owners.
Leptos Coral Seas Villas is an award-winning project of ultra-modern waterfront villas featuring an exceptional combination of design and creativity. Distinguished by their colours, modernism and high quality materials, these 63 sea view mansions are located in one of the most sought after locations in Paphos. They have private pools, lush gardens, large terraces, gym and sauna, all in an exclusive gated community.
As mentioned in an article in Elle magazine Decor Spain Magazine , this special mansion is a 240 m 2 two-storey building , decorated in neutral colors with a white background contrasting with bright, modern and vibrant colors.
Designer Elena Uchaeva, who took on the design of this mansion, explains that the goal was to create a quiet, relaxing home for the owners with strong accents. He also mentions that the whole concept was supposed to be something “atypical” for Cyprus, something that would not fall under the cliché of a Mediterranean residence next to the beach.
When designing the mansion, the designer removed the narrow windows located in non-standard locations and instead created a large open space. Also, in order to enrich the interior with shades of the sea, he included different shades of blue in the furniture upholstery, as well as the color of sand. However, the key detail of the central space is the impressive dark red sofa, which gives the room a bold touch.
