Following the signing of an agreement for the construction of a new reservoir in Germasoias , the Limassol Water Supply Board proceeded to sign an agreement for the construction of a new reservoir in the Agia Fyla area.
The new water tank will be made of reinforced concrete and will have a capacity of 800 cubic meters, and the cost of its construction will be 455,000 euros.
In addition to the water tank, the project includes the installation of new pipelines, control wells with flow meters, switches and other equipment, as well as landscaping of the surrounding area.
Construction work is expected to begin in September 2024 and end in April 2026, and with the completion of the new reservoir, the existing water supply system of the Agia Fyla area will be strengthened.
