In an era where construction is adapting to new work and lifestyle patterns, designers, builders and property owners need to prepare so that their projects can grow responsibly, retain their value and be sustainable in an unpredictable future.
Taking a holistic approach and understanding people’s changing needs is key, according to Ben Scott, senior partner at Foster & Partners, who will speak at the 18th Land Planning, Engineering and Construction Conference and Exhibition next Wednesday, March 27.
The government’s priorities will also be outlined in a speech by Interior Minister Constantinos Ioannou, who will be one of the speakers at the highly anticipated event.

In addition to Ben Scott, Lynn Akkawi, CEO of Prime Owners Association Management Services LLC in the UAE, will also speak.
This year’s conference will conclude with a debate on the future and sustainable development of Nicosia and Limassol between Yiannis Armeutis, independent candidate for the position of Mayor of Limassol, and Charalambos Prountzos, independent candidate for the position of Mayor of Nicosia, partner of the law firm Prountzos.
