Real estate sales jumped in the first month of the year, and in all provinces except free Famagusta.
According to the Department of Lands and Surveys, property sales in Cyprus rose in January 2022 to 855 from 513 in January 2021, a 67% increase recorded.
Limassol, which recorded the most sales, saw a 74% increase, with 276 sales documents completed in January this year, compared to 159 in January last year.
Impressive growth in Paphos
Paphos burst into 2022 dynamically with 214 sales compared to 76 in January 2021, recording a jump of 182%.
In Nicosia, the number of sales documents increased from 153 to 188, i.е. by 23%.
In January 2022, the number of trade documents in Larnaca increased by 61% to 150 compared to 93 in the corresponding month of 2021.
In contrast, Free Famagusta has a slight loss of 16%, with property sales falling to 27 from 32 in the first month of 2021.
