The Minister of the Interior has issued a Decree on the electronic submission and processing of applications for building permits from Monday, 1 July 2024, under the Roads and Building Regulation Act.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, taking into account the implementation of local government reform and actions taken to simplify and speed up the development licensing process, the decree provides for the electronic submission and consideration of applications for construction permits for all types of development through the HIPPODAMOS System with simultaneous electronic payment of the relevant rights .
“With the transfer of development licensing powers from existing authorities to five newly created provincial development organizations, July 1, 2024 is seen by the Ministry of Home Affairs as a significant milestone in development licensing, as well as the transition to digital delivery of the service,” he added. As mentioned. , the main goals are to better serve scientists and investors, but mainly ordinary citizens, reduce bureaucracy and reduce permitting delays.
In addition to applications for building permits, from Monday 1 July 2024, applications for urban planning permits will be submitted and processed exclusively through the Hippodamos System.
