With a major new investment in the field of sports, with an estimated cost of 10 million euros, Limassol will be enriched with new sports facilities.
The sports center will have fields for various sports, including soccer fields (9×9 and 5×5), tennis, beach volleyball and a jogging track, as well as a beauty salon, a nutrition center, a swimming pool and a gym.
Private sports facilities will be built in Pano Polemidia, 100 meters west of the sports center Spyros Kyprianou , 750 meters southeast of the Polemidion Dam and 200 meters northeast of a residential area.
The facilities will be designed to accommodate up to 250 people, and the staff is estimated at 65 people.
The proposed project will be built on three levels.
Offices, gyms, locker rooms and sanitary areas will be located at the highest level.
The two main levels will be below the level of the boulevard and will be accessed via a bridge.
Through one of the main levels, where the project’s car park is located, access is provided to the level of two building blocks of the development, as well as to mini-football fields (5×5 people) and tennis courts.
The first building will consist of a reception area, a shop, a beauty salon, changing rooms for guests and staff, as well as a restaurant and utility rooms.
The second building includes gyms, locker rooms, a rehabilitation center, a nutrition center and a children’s playroom.
The lower level will house gyms, locker rooms, laundry, warehouses and a product sales area. Also on the lower level of the building there will be a small covered parking with football fields (for 9×9 and 5×5 people), a beach volleyball court, a 25x10m swimming pool and a jogging track.
It is noted that the estimated period of the project is 18 months from the start of work.
