Among the fifty largest property transactions completed in Cyprus in 2023, the most expensive single transaction was the sale of a plot of land in the Limassol municipality for €22.1 million.
Moreover, Limassol leads in both the number and value of transactions: nine of the ten most expensive transactions were registered here.
Pavlos Loizu , CEO of Ask Wire , commenting on the above data, stated that “in 2023, sales of high-value properties attracted the attention of buyers, with Limassol confirming its reputation as the city with the most expensive properties. An intriguing finding is that land deals figure prominently among the most popular,” he added.
“In addition to the most expensive land transaction of 2023, seven of the ten most expensive transactions were related to land. This signals future market dynamics as such high-value sites are largely earmarked for development over the next 2-5 years.” The total value of these transactions in Limassol reached 111.2 million euros.
