Lefkaritis Group, bbf : and Foster + Partners announced strategic cooperation in the first phase of the «Land of tomorrow», a major project aimed at developing the coastal zone of the Larnaca-Dhekelia coastline .
The official announcement took place on 8 July 2024 in the presence of the President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides , Speaker of Parliament Anita Dimitriou, Mayor of Larnaca Andreas Wier and other dignitaries.
Designed by internationally renowned architecture firm Foster + Partners , the project envisions the creation of a vibrant and sustainable waterfront residential community with shops and retail strips , restaurants, a hotel, a conference center, offices, co-working spaces and green spaces.
An important feature of the project in terms of its design is the planting of about 20,000 trees, the goal of which is to transform the area into a green paradise. The project also includes sustainable infrastructure to ensure long-term environmental benefits.
The first phase includes the construction of four residential buildings on an area of more than 32,000 m². The residential complex will provide residents with amenities such as swimming pools, gyms, playgrounds, etc. Construction will begin at the end of 2025 and will be completed in 2-2.5 years. Sales will begin in October 2024.
Leaders of Lefkaritis Group , bbf : and Foster + Partners emphasized the significance of the project for the region and its sustainable development. The President of Cyprus noted that the project symbolizes a new beginning for Larnaca and will be an example of confidence in investment in the city.
