As part of an effort to create and renovate existing green spaces and parks in the city, the Municipality of Larnaca has begun beautifying three municipal parks and creating a new one.
According to the municipality’s announcement, the parks to be modernized are located on Themidos Street in the Limaniou district , Tuz Khane in the Skala district and Crino in the Vergina district . The created new park is located on the streets of Sirinon and Pavlou Mela in the area of Agios Georgios Kontos .
Reconstruction and creation of parks involves the installation of a monolithic safe coating, landscaping and improvement of playgrounds in each of them.
The Municipality of Larnaca , continuing its policy of creating parks and new green spaces that have already been discovered and will be developed, is currently in the process of discussing procedures for the redevelopment of five parks and the creation of three others, which are expected to start and complete during the current year. Parks are located on the streets of Kitsou Tzavela , Gate , Kalymnos , Kalamatas and Chopin , and new parks will be created on the streets of Tassos Konstantinou , Trikalon and Gordiou Desmos .
It is noted that over the past four years, the municipality of Larnaca has modernized 60 parks and created 25 more. The goal of the municipality, he said, is to improve the main roads and other parts of the city, pleasant routes and parks.
