The Association of Major Investment Projects stressed that major projects will continue to be an important factor in the growth of the Cyprus economy. Their portfolio includes projects with a total value of more than 8 billion euros. The association’s press release states that these projects, implemented in 2023, reflect the state’s modernization strategy aimed at increasing domestic product, creating new jobs and improving the quality of life.
These projects include the construction of hotels, medical and educational centers, golf resorts, commercial and residential buildings. The Association expects that the implementation of these projects will bring significant benefits to the country.
The association notes that these projects will contribute to environmental sustainability and compliance with climate standards, which are important aspects for Cyprus.
They stress that major projects will remain a key element of Cyprus’ growth strategy, making a significant contribution to the country’s economy and attracting new investment.
In addition to attracting investment, the association said these developments “contribute significantly to the gross domestic product (GDP) by more than 15 percent, creating thousands of jobs for people and contributing to the growth of the Cypriot economy.”
