Buying and renting prices for commercial stores have risen, making it even more difficult for businesses to obtain financial data during difficult times.
For example, in the most expensive city – Limassol – the cost of purchasing a commercial store today is €5,500–6,000 per square meter, and renting is €20–45 per square meter.
The second most expensive province to buy a store is Nicosia, while prices in the other provinces fluctuate at the same level. As for renting commercial shops, the “cheapest province” for them is Larnaca .
Below are prices for purchasing and renting commercial stores according to a recent Danos report Estates for the first half of 2023.
Prices for purchasing commercial stores
The most expensive city in terms of shopping centers today is Limassol , where they cost 5500-6000 euros per square meter.
The second most expensive city is Nicosia, prices range from €4000-€5000 per sq.m.
This is followed by the remaining three provinces – Larnaca , free Famagusta and Paphos, where prices for the purchase of a commercial store range from €2000 to €2500 per sq.m.
Commercial store rental prices
Limassol also leads in the most expensive rental of commercial shops: prices per square meter start from 20 euros and go up to 45 euros per square meter.

Next comes Paphos, where rental prices for commercial shops range from €10 to €25 per sq.m. and later Famagusta at a price of €10 – €20 per sq.m.
The “cheapest” province for renting shops is Larnaca , prices range from 6 to 20 euros.
