“Modernization and improvement of the property titling system will have a positive impact on the Cyprus economy,” said Mr. Yiannis , President of the Pan-Cyprus Land and Construction Development Entrepreneurs Association Mrs. Lis at a training organized by the Association.
“The accelerated issuance of property titles will not only end the suffering of thousands of citizens, but is also expected to increase investment interest from both Cypriot buyers and foreigners,” he said.
At the same time, Mr Misirlis emphasized that the Association, using the knowledge and experience of its staff, will continue to strengthen the work of the executive and legislative branches for the benefit of the sector and the entire Cypriot economy.
The event was also attended by the Minister, Mr. Konstantinos Ioannou, who in his greeting noted that, having identified the problem of delays, the goal was to establish a more flexible and faster procedure. “Thanks to this change, a significant reduction in the overall time to complete the application and issue a certificate of title is achieved – up to three months,” he said.
Mr. Ioannou also thanked the Pan -Cyprus Land and Construction Entrepreneurs Association, which “responsibly and in the interests of the citizens is strengthening the entire project with the necessary know-how.”
