The Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry supports new investments , including the construction of two new shopping centers in the Agios area Athanasios and Mesa Geitonia in Limassol . However, at the same time, EBEL expresses serious concern about the further deterioration of the traffic problem in the area.
EBE Limassol believes that the Ministries of Transport, Communications and Labor involved should immediately take the necessary actions to avoid further burdening the existing traffic problem in the area by upgrading the road network in the area with the construction of two new shopping centers and the construction of at least , a section of the Northern Bypass, as well as vertical roads to connect them with the existing road network in the area to alleviate the traffic problem in eastern Limassol .
“The Northern Bypass is a project of utmost importance for Limassol , which will help reduce the main traffic problem in our city,” emphasizes EVEL.
