Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEL) convened an important meeting at its offices to address the ongoing stagnation in the implementation of the long-awaited maintenance works of the Tsireion Stadium . Participants in the meeting, including representatives of the GSO, provincial deputies, Limassol Municipality and the Cyprus Organization for Economic and Sports Promotion (KOEAS), expressed serious concerns about this matter.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the Tsireion Stadium is important not only for Limassol , but also for the entire region. In this regard, the meeting unanimously decided to take initiatives to overcome the long-term predicament. The plan is to start by organizing a meeting in the near future with the new leadership of the Cyprus Sports Organization (CSO).
“Failure to complete or delay necessary stadium maintenance work is not an acceptable option.” EBEL emphasized the importance of timely repairs and maintenance of the facility, which is of great importance for the sports infrastructure of the region.
