Property sales in Cyprus showed a slight increase of 1% in October 2024, recovering from a decline in September. According to the data from the Land Registry Department, the number of registered sales contracts in October 2024 was 1,318, compared to 1,306 in October 2023. For the period January to October 2024, 12,952 transactions were registered, slightly up from 12,825 in the same period last year.

Limassol
Limassol continues to lead in terms of sales. In October 2024, 402 transactions were registered, up 5% compared to 383 transactions in October 2023. However, in the first ten months of 2024, the number of transactions decreased by 3%, amounting to 4,093 compared to 4,225 in the same period of 2023.
Nicosia
Nicosia has seen steady growth, with 297 transactions registered in October 2024, up 2% from 292 in October last year. Sales increased by 18% between January and October 2024, reaching 2,890 transactions, compared to 2,451 in the same period in 2023.
Larnaca
Larnaca shows an 8% increase in October 2024 with 284 transactions compared to 264 in October 2023. In the first ten months of 2024, 2,781 transactions were registered, up 6% from 2,612 transactions in the same period in 2023.
Pathos
In Paphos, sales remained fairly stable, down 1%: 272 transactions in October 2024 compared to 275 in October 2023. However, the first ten months of 2024 saw a decline of 11%, with 2,554 transactions compared to 2,878 in the same period last year.
Famagusta
The most significant decline was recorded in Famagusta . In October 2024, 63 transactions were registered here, which is 32% less than in October 2023, when 92 transactions were registered. In January-October 2024, the number of transactions decreased by 4%, amounting to 634, compared to 659 in the same period in 2023.
