Deposit interest rates remained close to zero in June, with lending rates fluctuating slightly, according to data released on Tuesday by the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC).
In June, the interest rate on household deposits with an agreed maturity of up to one year remained unchanged at 0.05% month-on-month, while non-financial corporate deposit rates increased to 0.03% from 0.01%. % in the previous month.
In terms of loans, the interest rate on consumer loans decreased to 2.89% compared to 2.91% in the previous month, while the interest rate on home loans increased to 2.32% compared to 2.28% in the previous month .
In addition, the interest rate on loans to non-financial corporations up to EUR 1 million increased to 3.36% compared to 3.31% in the previous month, while the interest rate on loans to non-financial corporations over EUR 1 million registered a decrease to 2 .89% compared to 2.97% a month earlier, according to the CBC.
