The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission received the Great Place to Work® certification.
CySEC is the second government agency to successfully pass the Great Place to Work® assessment, according to a press release released Wednesday.
“The Great Place to Work® certification is a testament to the high quality of CySEC’s human resource management, its motivational and engaging approach, and the strong bonds of mutual trust among employees at all levels,” he added.
CySEC Chairman George Theocharides said the certification “reaffirms that our organization stands out for nothing less than its people.”
“Highly qualified professionals with technical competence who work in a modern environment with specialized systems, having a priority on the mission and vision of an investor protection organization,” he said.
According to Theohharides, “every new colleague is pleasantly surprised by the working environment, professionalism and high standards of the organization. This certification is the result of many years of work and the contribution of employees. Maintaining and further strengthening a healthy work culture is also my personal goal.”
Great Place to Work® CEO Kyriakos Yacovides said that “the development of a positive and productive culture should not be the goal of private organizations alone.”
