Ask Wire , a Cypriot property analytics firm, has published a report on the ten most expensive property transactions in Cyprus for January 2024.
The ten largest property sales on the island in January totaled €14.3 million, with the most expensive transaction, the sale of a plot and building on the Germasogeia River in Limassol , totaling €2.97 million. Additionally, the report revealed that the total value of the top 50 sales for the month was €34.4 million.
Pavlos Loizou , CEO of Ask Wire , shared its findings, noting: “It is clear that the high-priced real estate market is off to a moderate start in the first month of 2024.” He also noted that “positions 7 to 10 represent transactions under €1 million,” indicating a wide range of sales.
Loizou also highlighted the competition between Larnaca and Paphos in this property category, suggesting that the dynamics between these areas will be interesting to watch, and concluded by saying that “it remains to be seen whether Nicosia will rise in the rankings.”
