According to official data released by the Statistical Office of Cyprus, building material prices rose by 8.15% year on year in March this year, but recorded a slight decrease from the previous month.
The building materials price index for March 2023 reached 135.89 units (2015 base year = 100), recording an increase of 8.15% compared to March 2022.
According to the Statistical Office of Cyprus, the main product categories recorded an increase of 24.45% minerals, 15.53% mineral products, 7.98% wood products, insulation materials, chemicals and plastics and 7.08% electromechanical products . A slight decrease of 0.82% was recorded in metal products.
Compared to February 2023, a slight decrease of 0.15% was recorded.
