On February 8, bbf : organized and hosted a networking event in one of its iconic buildings – Sky Tower in Limassol .
This intimate event brought together experts from different sectors of the real estate industry, including real estate agents, architects, experts in green and sustainable practices, commercial managers and human resources consultants. A panel of distinguished speakers – experts in their fields – shared their knowledge and perspectives on the emerging “Trends in Using Commercial Real Estate to Shape Corporate Culture.”
The event began with a warm welcome from Kyriakos Xydias , mayor of Germasogeia , which set the stage for the discussions that followed. Ksenia Bitulina , PhD in Sociology and former Vice President of HR at YIT, Housing Russia , researched the topic “The Future of Office Space: Necessity or Tradition?” identifying the points of view of both employers and employees.
Following this, Elena Petropavlovskaya, Global Commercial Director at bbf :, presented an overview of “Global Trends in Office Space”, shedding light on the international developments shaping the modern work environment.
The debate was continued by Mariella Polycarpou, Partner Architect at UDSarchitects , who highlighted the importance of “Sustainability and Circular Economy in Commercial Buildings” in her presentation.
Anna Klindukhova , project manager of the Friends of the City Club, elaborated on the topic “Exploring sustainability: the green office concept,” presenting innovative approaches to creating environmentally friendly workspaces.
Concluding his presentation, Georgy Dokuchaev, Commercial Director of bbf :, shared information about the “Cyprus office real estate market”, providing valuable information on current trends and future projects.
A discussion of the evolution and trends in workspace design highlighted the importance of durability, flexibility, potential for future reuse, and environmentally friendly commercial property management practices. Examines the role of physical space from a human perspective, highlighting how the evolving state of human experience shapes corporate culture, especially as Generation Z enters the workforce.
