The Cyprus Land Development Organization is preparing to launch two new projects in 2026 under the Affordable Rent scheme. This was announced by the organization’s chair, Elena Kouchou, at a press conference in Nicosia. She emphasized the importance of government support and noted that 247 residential units will be completed by the end of 2026. The organization serves as a liaison between the state, local government, and the private sector.
Two major projects are being implemented under the affordable rental program: in the Agios Nikolaos district of Limassol (138 apartments) and in Strovolos in Nicosia (54 apartments). They have received €28 million in government funding (€16 million and €12 million, respectively). Another new project will also be located within the Limassol Municipality.
In addition, the organization will manage the construction of 500 residential units on state lands, which were previously announced by the President of the Republic.
