With an investment of 7 million euros, the private clinic “European Medical Clinic” on Byzantium Street, which is run by the municipalities of Strovolos and Engomi , is expanding with the aim of enriching and improving the medical services of Nicosia.
In particular, the owner company received permission from the Department of Environmental Protection for transformation and expansion. With the introduction of this development, the clinic will include operating rooms, radiology, computed tomography, an obstetric department, an examination room, a ward, a pharmacy and office space.
The proposed development includes the following types of premises: medical premises (surgery, x-ray, obstetric department, examination room, patient rooms), pharmacy, office premises and 12 parking spaces, 2 of which are for the disabled. It is noted that the studied development also has additional parking spaces, while the total number of parking spaces is 31.
Access to the proposed project will be via Byzantiou and Andreas Zakos streets .
The construction work is expected to last 18 months.
