EPA approval has been secured for a large residential complex in Paphos. We are talking about the construction and operation of 18 houses within the administrative boundaries of the municipality of Peyia, on plots with a total area of 20,068 sq.m.
According to the environmental opinion, the development will include 18 two-story residential buildings with swimming pools, parking areas, green spaces, an internal road network with sidewalks to access the residential buildings, and a biological liquid waste treatment plant. The area of the total green area is 2,952 sq.m.
Swimming pool, garden and paved road network
The residences are expected to be equipped with air conditioning, heating, lighting, water and irrigation systems, as well as electrical and electronic equipment.
Specifically, each residence will include a private swimming pool, private parking and a private garden. In addition, it is planned to install photovoltaic panels on the roofs of houses.
An asphalt road network with sidewalks will be created for access to residential buildings, and LED lamps will be used to illuminate common areas.
As part of the project, a biological waste treatment plant will be built, which will receive liquid waste from 18 residential buildings.
What will each house include in detail?
As mentioned in the environmental impact assessment report that was presented in April 2021, the project is called Olea and is owned by Olias Homes Ltd, with a total cost of up to 4 million euros.
According to the project website, Olea Residences will be built in a prime location on the hills of the Sea Caves and Peyia Forest.
Three and four bedroom residences include, among other things, a spacious living room, dining room and kitchen, private parking for two cars, electric vehicle charger, barbecue area, swimming pool, heated floors, VRV system, security system, high ceilings, smart entrance with a lock, electric gates for cars, conditions for solar panels, as well as external and internal shutters.
