The building materials price index for November 2022 recorded an annual increase of 12.65%, which reached 133.94 units (based on 2015 = 100), according to data released by the Statistical Office on Monday.
In the main category of products, the largest increase was recorded for minerals at 13.25%, followed by mineral products with an increase of 13.19%. In metal products, the increase was 12.80%, in wood, insulating, chemical and plastic products – by 12.16%, in electromechanical products – by 11.54%.
Compared to the previous month, the price index for building materials fell by 0.58% in November.
From January 2022 to November 2022, the price index increased by 17.75% year-on-year, with the largest increase recorded for metal products at 24.99%, followed by wood products, insulating materials, chemicals and plastics with an increase of 17.68%.
